EVERTON, Mo. (KY3) – Keeping our students safe at school is a growing concern for countless parents, and more schools in Missouri are arming some of their teachers. The Everton R-III School District is just one of many implementing Student Protection Officers in the state. These are teachers who have completed training courses to learn first aid, de-escalation, and firearms handling skills.
