(FOX40.COM) — A Sacramento man was arrested in connection with the shooting death of a woman found on a Northern California highway in early September, the California Highway Patrol announced on Wednesday.
The agency said a 38-year-old suspect was charged with murder by the El Dorado County District Attorney’s Office.

CHP officers responded to a call of a disabled vehicle on Highway 50 near the community of Camino on the morning of September 7.
Officers found a woman inside who had died of a gunshot wound. The CHP said the suspect was at the site and was arrested that same day.
He is currently in the El Dorado County jail awaiting legal proceedings.
