Man accused of stalking women on U of U campus – call campus police if seen

SALT LAKE CITY ( ABC4 ) — The University of Utah issued a safety alert to its campus community on Wednesday evening, warning people to call University Police if they see a man who has been accused of following women into university housing.

Oluwatobi Oludaisi Shokunbi, 34 — also known as “King Rocky” — is accused of stalking women on campus and reportedly following them into university housing, as well as threatening a woman at the University of Utah Hospital.

The university said Shokunbi is about 6 feet tall and weighs about 250 pounds. He has a black and grey beard.

Shokunbi was arrested for trespassing on Sept. 17 after most recently being seen at Kahlert Village. He was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail but has since been released.

Arrest documents filed for his Sept. 17 arrest said Shokunbi has no affiliation with the university and had returned to the campus after being served a formal trespass. He was arrested for one count of criminal trespass – institution of higher education, which is a class B misdemeanor.
