Five-Star Wide Receiver Jerome Myles Officially Picks USC Over Utah

After months of speculation and top schools vying for his commitment, five-star wide receiver Jerome Myles has officially announced that he is committing to USC after de-committing from Ole Miss earlier in the year.

The 6’2″ 205-pound wideout hails from Corner Canyon High School in Draper, Utah, and currently ranks as the top prospect in the state, the fifth-best wide receiver prospect in the nation, and the 30th-best overall prospect in the country.

Myles narrowed down his top three schools to Utah, USC, and Texas A&M. Utah was one of the early favorites to land the top talent once he officially announced the re-opening of his recruitment cycle.

However, within the past month and a half, USC and Texas A&M surged into the picture, leaving Utah in the dust. Both programs most likely offered a hefty amount of NIL money that the Utes couldn’t match.

Some fans also pointed to the fact that Utah’s offense lacks consistent focus and production from top-talent wide receivers, with Dorian Singers not getting much involved in the offense until last week at Utah State.
