Actor Michael Madsen Files for Divorce Amid Abuse Allegations
Michael Madsen has filed for divorce, alleging years of abuse by his estranged wife, DeAnna Madsen. Madsen claims that DeAnna’s neglect and alcoholism contributed to their son Hudson’s suicide.
Madsen separated from his wife in January 2022, stating in his divorce petition that the relationship was "abusive, co-dependent, and toxic." He also accused DeAnna of being responsible for his wrongful arrest for domestic violence last month.
Madsen is seeking a domestic violence restraining order against his wife. The Los Angeles County District Attorney declined to file charges against Madsen due to insufficient evidence.
Madsen’s representatives declined to comment further. DeAnna Madsen has not yet responded to requests for comment.
