Piedmont Columbus Regional physical therapist and technician named annual Promise 360 champions

COLUMBUS, Ga. ( WRBL ) — Two healthcare workers with Piedmont Columbus Regional were named the annual champions of the Promise 360 program, which aims to celebrate the service and efforts of hospital employees.

Piedmont Columbus Midtown Emergency Department patient care technician James Manning was awarded for treating a man who had fallen asleep in his car with no air conditioning on a summer day. That man was treated in the ER for heat-related illness.

Over at Piedmont Columbus Northside, physical therapist Ariana Zanganeh was recognized for her work with a foster child who was hospitalized for mobility issues and suicidal thoughts. Zanganeh grew close to the patient during therapy sessions, giving them a listening ear and helping them with homework.

That patient made great improvement.

“We are about service above ourselves and we put the patient at the center of everything we do,” said Piedmont Columbus Regional CEO Scott Hill. “All our Promise 360 award winners are those who exemplify the very best that Piedmont stands for in our community.”
