Arkansas House District 75

Ashley Hudson (D)

Ashley Hudson was elected to the House in 2020.

“Our extraordinary Arkansas students and teachers need help. Healthcare options throughout the state are diminished, leaving fewer options for families. Large and small businesses across the country see Arkansas as an interesting place to invest, but we lack some of the crucial quality of life aspects that would bring world-class jobs and needed investments to our community,” she says on her campaign website.

Among her accomplishments she lists laws she participated in passing to enhance penalties for distracted drivers and to offer support for pregnant students and teen mothers.

Michael White (L)

Libertarian challenger Michael White is the owner of a chain of wireless retail stores.

“My policies are grounded in individual self-ownership, fiscal responsibility, & transparency. I prioritize ensuring that Arkansans enjoy the fruits of their labor without undue interference. Empowering students with practical job skills is paramount to me, aiming to break the cycle of federal dependence. I’m dedicated to making Arkansas the premier destination for veterans to live. As a staunch defender of the 2A, I also champion the right of individuals to bear arms. Strengthening government transparency through FOIA laws is vital,” he told Ballotpedia.
