Chick-fil-A eyes Austin Landing for newest location

MIAMI TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) — Chick-fil-A is looking to build its newest location in southern Montgomery County.

An application and plan have recently been submitted to the Miami Township Community Development Department by an applicant wanting to construct a Chick-fil-A restaurant on the east side of State Route 741 and north of Landing Way.

Currently, a residential home at 10322 Springboro Pike appears in the drawings at the site where the proposed Chick-fil-A would sit. The drawings indicate the home would likely have to be removed.

Documents show the applicant is wanting the new 4,852 square-foot restaurant to have a drive-thru with 79 parking spaces on its property.

Aside from on the building, two stand-alone signs could be placed on the property to indicate the property would be Chick-fil-A. On the building, one of the signs that could show “Welcome Friends and neighbors” and “Austin Landing.”

If approved, guests could see digital menu boards. Guests could also the potentially see 28 seats for outdoor dining and 78 indoor seats for indoor dining.
