The Cape Coral Animal Shelter Executive Director Liz McCauley has been elected to the board of directors of the Florida Association of Animal Welfare Organizations. FAAWO is an organization of non-profit animal shelters and dedicated advocates working together to positively impact animal welfare throughout the state of Florida. Its aim is to improve the lives of animals and support Florida shelters through legislation, advocacy, disaster response, and animal Transport Services. FAAWO shares knowledge, expertise and support to increase lifesaving efforts and advocacy for the animals in the state, creating a unified voice for animal welfare.
