APPLETON (WLUK) – A motorist who allegedly ran a stop sign, causing a fatal crash in February 2023, faces a homicide by negligent operation of a vehicle charge. Nicholas Schneiderwendt, 43, was in court Thursday for an initial appearance, where a $10,000 cash bond was set. He returns to court Monday for a preliminary hearing, court records show. Charges were filed Aug. 2.
