Police officers caught up to and arrested two suspects accused of fleeing with cash registers after robbing a 24-hour pharmacy in San Bernardino County early Thursday morning.
Video showed the suspects backing their vehicle up to a pharmacy in Upland to make it easier for them to get away and then entering the store.
“One of the males brazenly walked behind the counter as employees were stocking, ripped out two cash registers, and fled to the waiting vehicle,” the Upland Police Department posted on Instagram .
The suspects were attempting to flee the city when they were located and pulled over by officers, according to the post.
“Inside the vehicle was cash, burglary tools, and clothing worn during the theft,” police said. The two registers that were taken from the store and then discarded were also located.
Both suspects were arrested and their vehicle was towed, police said.
