Deputies: Death of woman near Pullman being investigated as homicide

LEE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities are investigating the death of a woman near Pullman as a homicide.

The Allegan County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were called to the house of Mable Mills, 43, in Lee Township on Thursday for a welfare check after she did not show up for work. When deputies entered her home, they found her dead.

Detectives are investigating her death as a homicide, according to the sheriff’s office.

It’s unknown how Mills died.

The sheriff’s office said no arrests have been made at this time. No suspect information was released.
