EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) – A woman is facing five counts of animal cruelty after horses were found in poor shape on property east of Colorado Springs. On Friday, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office issued a news release with details on the case. The sheriff’s office received a call on Sept. 10 from the U.S. Department of Agriculture stating they received info that multiple horses were in poor health in the 4000 block of Alta Vista Road. The area is south of Simla.
