CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A woman visiting her family from the Caribbean ha has been reported missing in south Charlotte, police say.
According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police, 77-year-old Lenora Carty was last seen at her family’s residence in the 6000 block of Vizcaya Court, off Providence Road.

Police say she was wearing a red long-sleeved shirt, blue pants, a gray/green colored hat and carrying a black purse.
She is diagnosed with cognitive impairment and may be lost or confused. Carty is from Trinidad and may not be familiar with the area.
She is described as a Black woman, 5 feet tall, 150 pounds, with brown eyes.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.
