JERSEY CITY, NJ – On September 19, 2024, Darius Evans, aged 49, was sentenced to 16 years in New Jersey State Prison following his guilty plea to one count of Aggravated Manslaughter. The crime, which occurred in the early hours of January 1, 2021, resulted in the death of Tyrone Haskins, 39, from Jersey City.
