Parents, school districts, and law enforcement in central NC respond to numerous school threats

WAKE COUNTY, N.C. (WNCN) – “When I first got the text from my daughter, I was like here we go again,” said Camara Jackson. The Wake Forest mother of four said her daughter was one of hundreds of students who stood in the bleachers outside in the heat at Heritage High School when the school evacuated because of a bomb threat. The threat came during the first few days when classes started in August. While some students and parents shared concerns about heat-related issues that day, Wake Forest police said everyone remained safe.
