Harvest Moon Festival happening Saturday in Pittsford

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A family-friendly event this Saturday in Rochester will feature cultural dances, music and martial arts demonstrations, food, vendors and activities all about learning more about Asian cultures.

Organizers with APAPA Rochester say they enjoy making sure no one in this community feels alone.

“Within the AAPI community particularly, it’s a great way for us to mingle and have cross-cultural activities and understanding and also just to the larger Rochester community in general.” APAPA Rochester Interim President Sungmin Shin said.

News 8 is proud to act as this year’s media sponsor, and Sunrise Anchor Mikhaela Singleton will be emcee. The free event will be at the Pittsford Grain Tower parking lot from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, rain or shine, with plenty of tents to stay dry.
