Metro Nashville Police (MNPD) have done 10 street racing initiatives so far in 2024 in an attempt to combat dangerous driving and meet ups. Lieutenant James Williams explains street racing started happening a lot more during the pandemic. This lead to the creation of the Street Racing Initiative that’s been active since 2020.
