Teen arrested following a burglary at a North Syracuse Smoke shop

NORTH SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — North Syracuse police have arrested a 16-year-old and found a stolen car after a burglary at a smoke shop Thursday night.

Police got to the scene at the North Syracuse smoke shop just after 2:15 a.m. on Friday, September 20. When they arrived, several people ran away, leaving behind a stolen car from the city of Syracuse.

The suspect, a 16-year-old was arrested and is facing the following charges.

  • Burglary in the third degree, a D-class felony
  • Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle the First Degree, a D-class felony
  • Criminal Mischief in the third degree, an E-class felony
  • Possession of Burglar’s Tools, an A-class Misdemeanor
  • Petit Larceny, an A-class Misdemeanor
  • Conspiracy in the fifth degree, an A-class Misdemeanor
