COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) -On Friday, dozens of people and city leadership furthered the conversation about the Citadel Mall, specifically surrounding its safety. The meeting was held at Zeal Church inside of the mall. Community members told 11 News that they want to change the narrative behind the mall, making it more inviting to the community. City leaders such as Police Chief Adrian Vasquez, City Council Member Nancy Henjum, and mall ownership echoed that message of change for the future.
