Colorado Hit With Major Setback Before Week 4 Game

Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes were hit with a major setback ahead of their Week 4 game against the Baylor Bears.

According to Pete Thamel, Colorado running back Dallan Hayden will not suit up on Saturday.

Hayden’s been dealing with a lingering high-ankle sprain that held him out of last week’s contest against the Colorado State Rams.

In the two games he’s played in during the 2024 college football season, he’s tallied 14 carries for 52 yards.

Hayden is a junior and is in his first season with the Buffaloes after transferring this past offseason from the Ohio State Buckeyes.

In Hayden’s career, he’s accumulated a total of 144 rushes for 715 yards and six touchdowns.

Colorado is expected to lean to redshirt junior Charlie Offerdahl, sophmore Isaiah Augustave, and freshman Micah Welch in Hayden’s absence.

The Buffaloes will look to improve their record to 3-1 on the season.

Kickoff on Saturday is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. ET on FOX. Colorado is a one-point favorite.
