Tim Tebow Names X-Factor for Oklahoma Against Tennessee in Week 4

The Oklahoma Sooners face their first true SEC test in Week 4 when they welcome Josh Heupel and the Tennessee Volunteers to Norman. It is the first time the programs have met since 2015, when Baker Mayfield still played at Oklahoma.

Both teams are undefeated heading into the ranked matchup. Oklahoma is coming off a win over the Tulane Green Wave.

On “SEC Nation,” Tim Tebow explained what Oklahoma needed to do to win against Tennessee in Norman. He believed it all came down to what quarterback Jackson Arnold can do in the running game.

Tebow claimed that Arnold was the only reason Oklahoma beat Tulane in Week 3.

“I agree with Jordan,” Tebow said. “The only reason they won last week against Tulane was because of Jackson Arnold’s legs. Period. That was the X-factor in the game.

“I also think that has to be, for Oklahoma’s sake, another X-factor this week. I don’t think they’ll be able to run the ball. I don’t think their offensive line is physical enough, and I don’t think their backs are able to maneuver in space enough to get the breakaways. So, you’ve gotta count on Jackson Arnold and his legs.”
