Shooting on Joseph Ave leaves man injured

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – Rochester man was injured following a shooting on Joseph Avenue Friday night.

Rochester police say they responded to an area near Joseph Avenue and Avenue D for the report of a person shot around 9:15 p.m.

Around the time officers arrived to investigate the scene, a 36-year-old man who had been struck at least one time by gunfire arrived at an area hospital in a private vehicle.

The man was treated for what police are calling non-life-threatening injuries.

Police do not have any suspects in custody at this time, and the investigation is still ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
