But how intense were things between the dynamic duo? The former DPOY revealed just how bad things got, admitting that he could only communicate with the two-time Finals MVP through one medium since The Slim Reaper had blocked his number.

In an OT loss against the Clippers, Green and Durant had a heated exchange on the court that spilled over into the locker room. The intensity of the altercation led the franchise to suspend Green for one game without pay due to his involvement.

Golden State did indeed make an appearance in the NBA Finals for a fifth consecutive time that year, but the internal chemistry was never the same. During his appearance on Carmelo Anthony’s ‘What’s In Your Glass?’ podcast, the four-time All-Star revealed how KD wanted to distance himself from him. Consequently, the 14-time All-Star blocked Draymond’s number, forcing the latter to communicate with him only through one means.
