Browns’ Nick Chubb Praised By Division Rival Amid Swirl Of Retirement Rumors

The Cleveland Browns are scheduled to take on the New York Giants on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET in The Rock And Roll Capital Of The World, Cleveland, a chance for Coach Kevin Stefanski’s team to continue marching forward toward a possible second straight playoff appearance.

The Browns are 1-1 on the season while the Giants desperately need a win in the forthcoming matchup between recent Coach Of The Year winners Stefanski and Brian Daboll.

The matchup comes amid rumors surrounding former All-Pro running back Nick Chubb’s future status with the team.

Sideline photos of Chubb from last week in Jacksonville suggested that he may be closer to returning than originally thought. Since then, rumors of a possible retirement have swirled, adding further to speculation.

Chubb was placed on the Physically Unable To Perform (PUP) list recently, meaning that he will miss the first four games of the season.
