Rain and mountain snow continue tonight for southern Colorado

TONIGHT: Showers continue to work their way north, with an increasing chance for some heavier rain from time to time. Eventually, with dropping temperatures, the snow line will start to drop as well. It hovered around 11,000′ today, but could drop as low as 8,500′ tonight. This means lower elevations in Teller county could also see some snowflakes tonight. Accumulations on the taller peaks could be as high as 10″, minor to no accumulations are expected for the lower elevations.
