HUNTSVILLE, Ala. ( WHNT ) — A Grissom High School student was arrested after making threats towards the school, a Huntsville City School spokesperson told News 19.
The unidentified student made a threat in a group chat. School officials contacted law enforcement after learning about the threat and the student was taken into custody.

School officials said the student is facing charges and serious disciplinary consequences from the school.

We thank our students and families for following our “see something, say something” protocol to alert us of this matter. Please continue to report any suspicious, unusual, or concerning activity to a teacher or administrator immediately.
