ANN ARBOR, Mich. – As Kalel Mullings lined up for the biggest carry of his career, was there really any doubt what was about to happen?. The fifth-year senior running back, himself standing at 6-foot-2 and 233 pounds, stood around USC’s nine-yard line. With Michigan trailing, 24-20, he readied to get the ball for a fourth-and-goal carry from the two that would effectively decide Michigan’s fate in the final 40 seconds of Saturday’s top-20 matchup. In front of him were six offensive linemen, two tight ends, a fullback and his quarterback.
