WYOMING, MI – A large fire destroyed a garage and melted the siding of several nearby homes south west of Grand Rapids Saturday afternoon. Fire crews were called at 12:15 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, to a garage fire in the area of 44th Street and Oriole Avenue S.W. in Wyoming by several passersby who saw large plumes of smoke coming from the area, according to the Wyoming Fire Department.
