AUGUSTA, Ga. (WFXG) – A hot first day of fall. High pressure and ridging will keep the CSRA dry and sunny through the rest of the weekend. Temperatures will be mid 90’s through the weekend with a cooling trend over the next week. Rain chances through next weekend will depend on the cold front to the north and the Gulf of Mexico low which could bring tropical activity to the area.
