Pedestrian dies in Centreville crash

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. ( DC News Now ) — A man has died after a pedestrian crash in Centreville on Saturday, according to the Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD).

In a post on X just before 9 p.m., FCPD said officers were on the scene of a pedestrian crash at Route 29 and White Post Road.

The pedestrian, a man, died at the scene.

As a result of the crash, Route 29 eastbound at White Post Road is closed, and drivers are encouraged to use an alternate route.
