ADEL, Iowa — The Vintage & Made Fair celebrated 10 years Saturday at the Dallas County Fairgrounds.
Tricia Hall, creator of the Vintage & Made Fair, felt there was a need to bring vintage and handmade items together in Des Moines. The goal is to boost and empower the creative community by giving them a way to cultivate new knowledge and learn about vintage crafting.
Over 190 businesses from all over the Midwest came together to share their love for vintage and handmade items. The fair brings unique items of almost every medium and style together in a grand display all can appreciate and enjoy.
People were able to find vintage clothes and freshly assembled pieces alike. It was a great time to secure seasonal plants and florals for your yard. The event also provides a place for restorers, photographers, and other entrepreneurs to advertise their businesses.
It was truly wonderful way to spend a Saturday, with a mix of indoor and outdoor vendors and stations. Guests were able to enjoy food and drink vendors who had unique and creative treats of their own to share. The fairgrounds came alive with live music provided by several local musicians.
