Temple Kicker Sets Field Goal Record

College kickers are performing exceptionally well.

Temple kicker Maddux Trujillo made history with a 64-yard field goal on Saturday. It’s the eighth-longest in NCAA history and the second-longest in modern FBS history.

Trujillo’s kick is the longest since 2008 and the longest ever at Lincoln Financial Field.

The kick gave Temple momentum, and they went on to defeat Utah State 49-25.

Quarterback Evan Simon contributed with four touchdowns, including a 91-yarder to Dante Wright.
