The Orioles optioned Johnson to Triple-A Norfolk on Sunday. Johnson is clearing out to make room on the roster for the returns of Jordan Westburg (hand) and Ramon Urias (ankle) from the injured list. He was with the big club for just one day, receiving one plate appearance after entering as a pinch runner.
