STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – New York is throwing itself into the future of energy. For those who don’t know, the state created a goal for itself to make “all sales or leases of new light-duty passenger vehicles” zero emission vehicles (ZEVs) by 2035. The state will have an extra decade to make “all sales or leases of new medium- and heavy-duty vehicles,” according to the U.S. Department of Energy.
