GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – One person died Saturday night after their car went off the road in Greer.
According to the Greenville County Coroner’s Office, the wreck happened around 9 p.m. Saturday on Country Club Road at Burnett Drive.
The coroner’s office said a Chevrolet Express van was traveling east on Country Club Road when it went off the road and hit a tree. A unidentified woman in the front passenger seat who was not wearing her seat belt was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation and an autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
