Folding camping chairs and canopies dotted the lawn of the Owensboro Convention Center on a hot and humid Saturday night as the third annual Northwest Neighborhood Alliance concert event, “Groovin’ on the Green,” filled the air with sounds of jazz music.
Vendors lined the sides of a closed Locust Street, selling everything from crafts to food. Owensboro Health even had a booth set up to offer free blood pressure checks and health information to the community.
