Davenport Man Indicted on Federal Charges for Armed Carjacking Incident in June

A Davenport man is facing federal charges following an indictment for a June carjacking where he allegedly wielded a firearm-23-year-old Armoni Moody could see a minimum of seven years to a life sentence if convicted on all counts. According to the United States Attorney’s Office, the indictment includes charges of carjacking, brandishing a firearm in furtherance of a violent crime, and possession of ammunition by a convicted felon. The formal charges also bring with them the potential forfeiture of the SCCY firearm and ammunition that were reportedly used during the crime.
