The Eugene-area high school sports scene had more than a few standout performances recently.

Nyah Mitchell, Churchill volleyball
The senior had 25 kills and three aces Tuesday in a five-set win over North Eugene.
Anna Davis, Creswell volleyball
The sophomore had nine kills, two blocks and three aces Wednesday in a three-set win over La Pine.
Mallory McGuire, Thurston volleyball
The sophomore had 25 digs and six aces Thursday in a three-set win over Eagle Point.
Kenna Caldwell, Pleasant Hill soccer
The sophomore goalkeeper had two saves Monday in a 5-0 win over Santiam Christian and 12 saves Wednesday in a 0-0 draw against Creswell.
