Chiefs-Falcons pass interference: Atlanta coach Raheem Morris says ‘I like my money’ about controversial no-call

The Chiefs narrowly escaped the Falcons on Sunday night 22-17 after stifling two potential game-winning drives by Atlanta in the fourth quarter. However, one of these stops has caused a fair share of controversy.

On the tail end of what would eventually be an 83-yard drive resulting in no points, the Falcons lined up at the Kansas City 6-yard line on 3rd-and-5 with just over four minutes to go in regulation. Looking to punch one in for the lead, quarterback Kirk Cousins took the snap and slung one to tight end Kyle Pitts who was streaking across the back of the end zone covered by Bryan Cook.

Pitts was unable to hold on to the ball, but Cook was all over him on the play, which many thought should have been a pass interference. If called correctly, the incompletion would have resulted in Atlanta moving up to the 1-yard line and likely scoring before the end of the game.

Here’s everything to know about the Chiefs-Falcons pass interference no-call, including Atlanta coach Raheem Morris’ answer when asked about the controversial play in the post-game press conference.
