One hot day, but two chances for rain the rest of this week

We’ve seen another mainly sunny day. A cool start was followed by afternoon temperatures peaking out around 80 degrees. South of Portland in the Willamette Valley, temperatures even reached into the lower 80s. Strong high pressure is directly overhead now and stays nearby through Tuesday. A few of those low clouds move inland so some of us in the I-5 corridor (including Portland) will see gray to start Monday. Otherwise, expect plenty of sunshine once again Monday. Afternoon high temperatures creep up a couple of degrees tomorrow.
