Mississippi high school kicker hits 61-yard FG, sets record that would tie SEC record

Often in high school – similar to college – the odds of a field goal going through the uprights is a coin flip. But Evan Noel might’ve found a way to rig that coin. The five-star Arkansas commit on Friday set a Mississippi high school record by drilling a 61-yard field goal, setting a new standard for prep possibilities. According to WLOX anchor Matt DeGregorio, not only did it set a state record, but it matched the SEC record.
