AKRON, Ohio – The annual Akron Latin Festival, a celebration of Latin and Hispanic cultures, is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 5 from 4-9 p.m. at Cascade Plaza. Some 3,000 people attended last year’s event, which was the first time it was held in downtown Akron. Inaugural festivals were held in the city’s North Hill neighborhood.
