The last Shoney’s in Ohio is set to close.
The last remaining Shoney’s in Ohio is located in Dover at 881 Commercial Pkwy.
The Dover location will be set to close on October 20, the property was sold during an auction in August of 2024.
Until its close date, the location will be open seven days a week from 8 am to 4 pm Monday-Friday and from 7 am to 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
News outlets report that the owner of the Shoney’s restaurant in Dover, Nick Hussein, wanted to get rid of some of the restaurants he owns.
The next nearest location to the Ohio Valley is Uniontown, PA.
