The National Weather Service confirmed two tornadoes in Indiana Sunday night

After much of Central Indiana saw thunderstorms Sunday night, two tornadoes were reported and confirmed by the National Weather Service .

Were there tornadoes in Indiana last night?

Yes; there were two reported tornadoes in Indiana Sunday night in two separate counties.

A tornado was reported in Delaware County near Yorktown that NWS will rate on Monday.

Another tornado was reported in Jay County, on the west side of Portland. Initial damage has been reported, but a survey is planned for Monday for the impacted area.

Will we get more rain in Indiana?

Yes; NWS Indianapolis says there will be more rainy days ahead. There is even a seven-day Hazardous Weather Outlook issued for the following Central Indiana counties:

Bartholomew, Boone, Brown, Carroll, Clay, Clinton, Daviess, Decatur, Delaware, Fountain, Greene, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Henry, Howard, Jackson, Jennings, Johnson, Knox, Lawrence, Madison, Marion, Martin, Monroe, Montgomery, Morgan, Owen, Parke, Putnam, Randolph, Rush, Shelby, Sullivan, Tippecanoe, Tipton, Vermillion, Vigo and Warren.
