Duval County, Florida, restaurants with the most inspection violations in the last 30 days

Recent inspections by the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation have revealed food safety concerns at several Duval County restaurants. With an estimated population of 1,030,822 according to the United States Census Bureau 2023 data, Duval County has a thriving restaurant scene catering to both locals and visitors.

State records showed that over the last 30 days, the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation conducted inspections on 379 restaurants in the county.

Of these, 191 restaurants passed the inspection on their first visit, while 188 were found lacking and did not meet the health standards during the first visit.

Restaurants With The Most Violations

At the top of the list is BB’s Restaurant and Bar, located at 1019 Hendricks Avenue in Jacksonville. During its inspection on September 16, 2024, BB’s was cited for 27 violations, including three high-priority infractions. A follow-up inspection is required to address the noted issues.
