Indiana woman tied to bed and boyfriend strangled to death as couple’s plan to swing ends in terror

An Indiana woman was sentenced to 65 years in prison for the 2021 kidnapping and rape of a couple she met on a LGBTQ dating app. In 2023, Heidi Kathleen Carter was found guilty of aiding, inducing, or causing murder, criminal confinement, and aiding, inducing, or causing rape, Evansville Courier & Press reported. Carter was accused of killing of 50-year-old Tim Ivy and of the rape of a woman who was held captive inside Carter’s Stinson Avenue residence.
