CARSON CITY, Nev. (KOLO) – A 13-year-old has been arrested on terroristic threat charges after police say they made a shooting threat against Eagle Valley Middle School. The Carson City Sheriff’s Office says that on Sunday, at around 8:00 a.m., they received a call about an Instagram post that said, “School shooting October 10, Eagle Valley Middle School” with two gun emojis following the post. Police say the account also had on it “I like to do shootings every single year” with a gun emoji.
