Warm Weather Expected Along Northern California Coast as Winds Weaken

Northern California is set to experience warm and dry conditions early this week, with temperatures rising along the coast due to a high-pressure system. The National Weather Service in Eureka reports that coastal areas like Crescent City may see highs in the lower 70s, with a 75% chance of hitting 70°F or more today.

Interior valleys could see temperatures soar above 100°F, but cooler weather is expected by midweek as an upper-level trough moves in, bringing lower temperatures and a chance of coastal drizzle by Wednesday in Del Norte and Humboldt Counties.

Wind gusts up to 30 mph are predicted in Crescent City this afternoon due to an increased pressure gradient.
