Celebrate farms, alligators, coffee, chickens, sugar cane, and Louisiana music this weekend.
It’s the last weekend of September, and fall is finally here. The weather might be a tad cooler, so get out and enjoy a festival.

Natchitoches Parish Fair – Natchitoches – September 25, 26, 27, 28
454 Fairgrounds Road
Exhibits, a carnival, a livestock show, and live entertainment highlight the annual Natchitoches Parish Fair. There will be food and drinks for purchase.
Farm Fest – New Iberia – September 26
317 E. Main Street
Held on the grounds of Shadows-on-the-Teche, Farm Fest marks the beginning of the Louisiana Sugar Cane Festival. There will be live entertainment, food, drinks, games, a petting zoo, and a Sugar Cube Sweepstakes, where everyone’s a winner.

Hours are 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Admission is $10/family.
Farm Fete – Baton Rouge – September 26
501 Main Street
A fundraiser in support of Big River Economic & Agricultural Development Alliance (BREADA), Farm Fete is an evening of delicious food, curated cocktails, and live music. Held at the newly renovated Main Street Market complex, attendees will have the opportunity to sample food prepared by 10 local chefs while listening to the music of John Gray Jazz & Friends. Silent and live auctions round out the evening.
